Thank you for walking the vocal journey with me!

This page outlines my studio policies. I am aware that some of these paragraphs may come across as somewhat formal, but I assure you that this approach is the most effective way to make everything work smoothly.

AD HOC ONLINE WEEKDAY SESSIONS

Weekend sessions can be booked for an additional fee of £5. For individuals without a UK bank account, Revolut is available as an alternative payment method.

The sessions are held over Zoom.

​​

In order to achieve your desired results, please:

  • use a laptop for the best audio and video quality,

  • find a safe space where you can concentrate and relax,

  • bring a previously memorised text, quote, or affirmation of at least three lines, or a previously memorised song you would like to work on (I will have several alternatives available for you as well),

  • consider bringing a phone to record audio notes or a notebook if you prefer to make written notes,

  • wear comfortable clothing,

  • keep your water bottle within easy reach,

  • if the session focuses on the voice-body connection, lay out a yoga mat and a small pillow, and position your camera so it clearly shows your head and torso while lying down,

  • I recommend refraining from eating for at least 2 hours before the session begins, and ensure that you are well hydrated,

  • the sessions are conducted via Zoom and require a free account. To improve our connection, please create a free account at https://zoom.us/. For a smooth experience, high-speed internet access is required, and an ethernet connection is preferred. Additionally, certain Zoom settings need to be configured to enable singing lessons. You can view the required settings here.

Your slot is considered secure only once your payment has been successfully received. If you request a booking but do not complete payment within 24 hours, your spot may be offered to someone else.

 

Cancellations and Rescheduling:

Cancellation of a previously booked session must be communicated at least 48 hours before the agreed start time. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed entirely, will be charged at the full session rate. Cancellation or rescheduling requests must be sent via email or text message, and the notice period will be calculated based on the timestamp of the sent message. No refunds will be issued for missed sessions.

Sessions must be used within one month from the date of purchase. Cancelled sessions may only be transferred to the following month. No refund will be issued for a missed rescheduled session.


If you do not arrive for your session within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time, the session will be forfeited and considered a no-show. To avoid this, please notify me as soon as possible by texting or emailing info@michaelasound.com if you are running late. Please note that session time cannot be extended, and no reimbursement will be issued for missed time.


If I need to cancel a session, a makeup session will be offered automatically. If it is not possible to schedule a makeup session, a refund for that specific session will be issued.


The gift card must be used by the person whose name appears on the card within two months of the date of issuance. If sessions are not scheduled within this timeframe, the gift card will expire. Refunds are not available.
