I am a Voice/Movement Coach who taught at the Met Film School at Ealing Studios and The Actors Centre in the West End. I am a Singing Coach who collaborated with Cherry Pie Music, Wac Arts, Stella Mann College of Performing Arts and Solent University in addition to running my private studio practice.
I apply various paths to access the human voice which are based on research studies and my professional and personal experiences. I currently teach online and face-to-face in London where I also offer coaching/mentoring sessions.
I believe that researchers shape the future. Therefore, I earned a Master’s degree with distinction in Voice Pedagogy/Research at the University of Wales/Voice Study Centre. One of my research studies was published by Routledge in the peer-reviewed journal Voice and Speech Review and can be found here. I have trained with Catherine Fitzmaurice and finished my Certification as an Associate Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework® at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. I also studied vocal arrangement, conducting, and vocal painting at the Royal Academy of Music in Denmark. I am a qualified yoga teacher (RYT® 500).
My projects include Circle Singing London which explores vocal improvisation, To Move with the Voice which addresses the connection between the body and the voice, a vocal group called The Voice Energy project, and Holistic Vocal Coaching.
In addition, I experienced a broad range of singing/voice/movement techniques including:
Alexander technique®, The Accent Method, The Roy Hart Theatre, Serge Wilfart®- Pneumaphonie®, Linklater Voice®, The Grotowski Institute®, Body-Mind Centering®, Feldenkrais Method®, The Roll Model® Method, Estill Voice Training™, Somatic Voicework™ - The LoVetri Method.
I have run workshops all around the UK, the Czech Republic and Spain (at the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona).
Now, based on my professional experience and qualifications, I am fulfilling my desire to share my passion for voice and support others to experience the power of self-expression through voicework.
''When the voice is blocked, muffled or held back, life gets blocked too. Sounding releases emotions that can turn into tensions and physical complaints if not expressed. It allows you to restore the natural flow of your life through the brilliance and power of your voice."
